How it works
From now till the application closes on 31 August 2021, you can apply to pitch. 100 startup finalists will be announced in late-Sep on our website.
Applicants are divided into two tracks:
- Local contestant (defined as below): if (i) he is a Hong Kong permanent resident (ii) his company is a Hong Kong registered business, and he can physically participate in the final pitch at sky100, Hong Kong on 5 Nov 2021, he will be entitled to enter the Hong Kong Track of the pitching competition
- Overseas contestant: (i) if he does not have a HKID (ii) his business/company is not registered in Hong Kong, and he can perform the live pitch online on 5 Nov 2021, he will be entitled to enter the Global Track of the pitching competition
100 startup finalists will be announced in late-Sep on our website.
Top 100 finalistsHong Kong startup finalists will physically participate in the elevator pitch at sky100 on 5 Nov; overseas startup finalists will perform an online live pitch in late-Sep, shortlisted overseas finalists will participate in the Pitching Competition on 5 Nov in virtual format.
Top 10 finalistsTop 10 finalists will give their final pitch at the Pitching Competition on 5 Nov (i.e. Hong Kong contestant will perform a live pitch on stage at sky100; whereas overseas contestant will perform a live pitch in virtual format), engage in a live Q&A session with all judges (3 minutes pitch + 2 minutes Q&A for each finalist) and compete for cash prize worth US$200K!
Champion, tech winners and top 10 finalists will be awarded at the Pitching Competition on 5 Nov!
Selection of finalists and winners will be subject to evaluation of the organising committee, investor judges and corporate judges.
